DESCRIPTION OF THE DIGITAL SERVICES.

www.wietholt.de provides information about the company, its services, locations, references, career opportunities and contact options.
www.wietholt-shop.de enables users to search for, select and order goods and to use additional customer-related functions. Advisory, contact and support services are also available.

LEGAL BASIS AND GUIDANCE.

Accessibility requirements arise in particular from the German Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) and the German Accessibility Improvement Ordinance (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsverordnung – BFSGV). In our gradual development process, we follow the applicable legal requirements and recognised standards for accessible digital services.

CURRENT STATUS AND ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

Our digital services are undergoing a continuous improvement process. Some areas may currently not yet be fully accessible in every usage scenario. Full compliance of all pages and functions has not yet been conclusively confirmed.
When designing and developing our digital services, we take into account, among other things, the structuring of content, readability and perceptibility, the usability of key functions, clear user guidance and use on different devices. The level of implementation may vary depending on the area, technical system and timing of the respective improvements.
We are continuously working to further improve the design, technical usability and editorial content. This includes both existing pages and functions as well as new and revised content.
As part of a gradual website refresh, content and page types are being reviewed and further developed. At the same time, editorial and technical foundations are being maintained and optimised. To obtain specialist support, we are currently exploring opportunities to work with specialised service providers.

IMPROVEMENTS ALREADY IMPLEMENTED.

In June 2026, a new navigation system was launched on www.wietholt.de. Its development focused in particular on clearer orientation, good readability, stronger contrasts, clear navigation paths and quick access to various contact options.
The navigation and other areas of the website continue to be reviewed after their release and are further developed where necessary.

OUR APPROACH.

As part of our ongoing improvements, we focus in particular on a clear and understandable structure, good readability, intuitive navigation, use on different devices and increasing compatibility with assistive technologies.
Feedback from users is reviewed and, within the scope of technical, organisational and editorial possibilities, taken into account in further improvements. If information is currently not accessible in a suitable format, we will consider providing it in an alternative format upon request.
